The FrontEdge Inc. Development Team works to continuously improve the features and functionality available in SchoolFront to address the evolving needs of SchoolFront users by means of customer feedback and customer and industry research/benchmarking.
System Bugs & Feature Requests
Users who discover bugs or who would like to see new system features (or even adjustments to existing features) can submit requests to the FrontEdge Inc. Development Team through the SchoolFront Support Portal.
|

Feature requests and support requests can all be easily logged from the SchoolFront Support Portal.
|
The FrontEdge Inc. Development Team addresses critical bugs immediately. If new features or reports requested by users are deemed by the FrontEdge Inc. team to be valuable to the whole of the SchoolFront user-base, the Development Team will develop them for free and update the system so that all users can use them.
Custom Development
If a SchoolFront user requests a new report or new/enhanced functionality and the request is critical to a teacher, administrator or district but is deemed by the FrontEdge Inc. team to be of proprietary value only to the school from which the request came, the Support Team will reach out to the district administrators to discuss custom development.
All special services and costs, if applicable, are identified and agreed upon prior to the start of custom development activities.
Centralized System Updates
FrontEdge Inc. does not charge customers for most new features because new features and system enhancements can easily be posted to the hosted site, where users login as usual and immediately reap the benefit of the new functionality or system enhancement. Centralized system updates eliminate the need for end-users to download patches and upgrades.
